Therefore 6 hours = (18 × 60) minutes = 1080 minutes


3. Convert 9 hours 35 minutes to minutes.

First we convert 9 hours to minutes and then add 35 minutes.

9 hours 35 minutes = (9 × 60) minutes + 35 minutes (1 hour = 60 minutes)

= 540 minutes + 35 minutes = 575 minutes.

4th Convert 7 hours 49 minutes to minutes.

First we convert 7 hours to minutes and then add 49 minutes.

7 hours 49 minutes = (7 × 60) minutes + 49 minutes (1 hour = 60 minutes)

= 420 minutes + 49 minutes = 469 minutes.
