Rosetta Stone courses to learn Hindi with the Rosetta Stone Mobile App

Rosetta stone courses

Rosetta Stone courses are the foundation of your language trip. Each unit takes you through a series of core lessons and exercises that focus on pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary and listening comprehension.

We make mobile learning fun and functional:

  • Bite-sized lessons with estimated practice times – most lessons only last 5-10 minutes!
  • Downloadable units for offline use
  • Speech recognition via telephone or headphone microphones

You want to spend most of your time studying in courses to master the basics, but we highly recommend adding other features to your learning! Practice time in courses depends on you and your progress goals. For most learners, we recommend 30 minutes a day.

phrasebook

We are all about learning at your own pace and making the most of your practice time. Enter phrasebook. Whether you’re traveling or looking to create a closer connection with your local community, Phrasebook can help you build language skills for daily interaction.

You have several categories to choose from, and each one contains keywords for common interactions. From greetings and polite sentences to shopping and health and safety, Phrasebook lets you switch between topics at your leisure.

After selecting a category, you can flip through phrases, much like you would with a stack of digital flashcards. Each sentence includes on-demand pronunciation from native speakers as well as Rosetta Stone’s TruAccent speech recognition, which ensures your pronunciation is easily understood.

Phrasebook is a fantastic way to learn new phrases in a short amount of time. Here’s a challenge – see how many sentences you can learn between classes or on your morning commute!

A story in Mandarin in Rosetta Stones App Feature Stories

Stories

Stories bring life to conversation. It is human nature to tell stories and to enjoy hearing them! Rosetta Stones Stories capture our universal love of storytelling with bite-sized narratives that will captivate you and help you hone your listening skills.

Each unit has a variety of stories to choose from – some you will go through in a snap and others can take with you for a while – that match the unit’s key skills and proficiency levels. The emphasis is, of course, on language learning, but stories are a great introduction to the culture that surrounds any language. You will find an additional cultural context and story in each narrative that will improve your understanding of the language as a whole.

Once you’ve decided on a story, it’s up to you to decide how you want to interact with it. You can read it to improve your understanding or listen to a native speaker read. We strongly recommend that you take the third option – record yourself reading! – to get additional pronunciation and speaking practice.

Each story is downloadable so you can listen to it on the go. Put them on the lineup alongside your favorite foreign language podcasts for a truly immersive experience!
